Introduction
In France, children aren't served food from a large bin, they are served a four course meal that meats the proper nutrition recommendations. America is far behind in teaching education and you can notice this flaw in the obesity rate. In this blog post, I will provide four sources along with summaries, and evaluation on the sources that re-inforce my opinion. My research question is: Should America change their school lunches to follow the French model? ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Source 1:

I agree with your points about American school lunches, how can any child truly be healthy when we are only given a short amount of time to eat, and most of that time is used to buy lunches? The connection between American school lunches and obesity is clear, if we start kids on the wrong eating path from an early age then those bad eating habits will only continue to follow them throughout their life.

I appreciate the depth of information provided in this annotated bibliography and the depth of Kira's comment. This post communicates a clear topic, research questions, and direction for a source-based argument. I am glad we talked about this topic in class; I have included a variation of your research question in our assignment sheet. I look forward to reading more from you on this topic...

I never knew that the USDA only will provide $2.57, When i really try to think about how much $2.57 will get me, it is impossible to think of a healthy meal that would contain 30% of all daily calories and nutrition, and i can really now see the issue with obesity in this country.
